Online Reservations

If you make a reservation or purchase on the Website, you will be asked to click your acceptance of this Agreement. If you choose to do so, you are indicating that you are expressly accepting these Terms and Conditions and you consent to be bound by and to become a party to the electronic version of these Term and Conditions and the Privacy Policy (as each may be amended from time to time) which, together with the terms of any contracts entered into by you with other Offering Parties ("this Agreement") govern your relationship with us and with other Offering Parties. If you choose not to click your acceptance of this Agreement prior to completing your online reservation or purchase, you will not be able to conclude your online transaction but your use of the Website will nonetheless continue to be subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Payment Card Use

If you make a reservation on the Website, you are warranting to us that you are legally authorized to use the credit or other payment card for the proposed transaction and that you fully understand this Agreement. See our Privacy and Security Statement for full details of how we store and process your personal information and card details. We use advanced technology for processing secure credit card based transactions and constantly upgrade these tools according to the technical development. Nevertheless, Hostels1.com accepts no liability for any damages of any nature resulting from you using your credit card on the Website.

Confirmation Emails

If you successfully conclude an online reservation, we will send you a confirmation email that will include full details of your particular reservation or purchase as well as a link to a full copy of this Agreement. Emails will be assumed to have been sent by us once they leave our information system.

The Reservation process:

With making a confirmed reservation with an Offering Party, your credit card will be charged a reservation fee of 5% per person per reservation with a $3.00 minimum by Hostels1.com for permitting you to use the Hostels1 Service. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. You are responsible for paying any remaining payments in full to the Offering Party that supplies the purchased product or service. When making a reservation you accept the "no-show-policy" of the Offering Party: For example, in the case of accommodation, if you cannot or do not honor the reservation you made and you fail to inform the Offering Party at least 72 hours prior to arrival by e-mail, stating the reservation number, the Offering Party will usually have the right to charge you the cost of the first night stay according to the original reservation made. To prove that the cancellation has been made in time you must keep the copy of the cancellation with your reservation number for a period of 7 days and forward it to the Offering Party and Hostels1.com on request. Once you commence your stay, and decide to shorten the length of your stay, it shat be at the discretion of the Offering Party as to if any charges apply.

Your Responsibilities

You warrant to the accommodation provider as follows: i) that you are fully and legally entitled to enter into this Agreement; ii) that you have full authority to execute this Agreement; iii) that your entering into this Agreement is not illegal in your jurisdiction and you will not use any Hostels1 Service while located in any jurisdiction that prohibits the use of such services; iv) that you are over 18 years of age; v) that all details provided by you to Hostels1.com are accurate and that you will not take steps to conceal your true identity from Hostels1.com such as by using pseudonyms, false addresses or taking technical steps to conceal your identity or location.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law the laws of Texas govern this agreement. The Texas courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to decide any disputes arising in relation to this Agreement.
